How to Install Official XXLPY Android 4.0.3 ICS Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Note ?
It was yesterday reported that Samsung had finally started rolling out the official Android 4.0 ICS update for Samsung Galaxy Note in some places but some people have not yet got it as an OTA update. Fortunately, someone has already leaked version of the official Android 4.0.3 ICS Firmware / ROM for Galaxy Note, and you can now install it on your device using Odin.Requirements & Initial Tasks
- Turn off your device’s antivirus and firewall before going to the installation process.
- Make sure you have at least 70% of battery backup on your device.
- Turn on USB Debugging from – “ Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging ” !
- Backup your files, messages, settings, calling logs & contacts before getting ahead to the installation process.
How to Install Official XXLPY Android 4.0.3 ICS Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 : Installation Procedures !
- Download Odin for your computer from here [Download Link] and extract it using any extraction program.
- After that, download the XXLPY Android 4.0.3 ICS ROM / Firmware for your Galaxy Note from here – Download Now !
- Extract the downloaded compressed file using any extraction tool.
- Now turn on Download Mode on your Galaxy Note by pressing the – Volume Down Button + Home Button + Power Button !
- Once you have enabled download mode on your Galaxy Note, just connect it with your computer using a USB data cable.
- Open Odin application your computer, click on the “PDA” button and select this file – “N7000XXLPY_N7000XALPY_N7000XXLPT_HOME.tar.md5″ which is available within the extracted folder.
- Once you have selected the desired file, just click on “Start” button to let the updating process begin.
- Now remove your Galaxy Note from the computer once the process gets completed and the home screen appears on your device.
- After that, turn off your phone and get penetrated into recovery mode by pressing the – Volume Up Button + Center Button + Power Button !
- Now select Wipe Cache Partition from - Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Wipe Cache Partition.
- Once it is done, just go back and select the “Reboot System Now” button.
